About Me

Biography

Suli Myrie is an actor and content creator  based in the Washington DC metro area. A Howard University Graduate with a  Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts, Suli also  studied at the British-American Drama Academy in Oxford, and acquired additional  on-camera training with Brenna McDonough.  A strong character actor on stage and on camera , Suli has appeared in a variety of television productions, plays, commercials, industrials, and independent films.  You can also enjoy her  podcast Sulz Says on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

Latest Project

On Thursday, January 25, 2024 Suli will be participating in a public table reading of By Me You'll Never Know written by Tom Minter as part of the Kennedy Center Theater Residency at 2pm and follow-up panel discussion on Friday, January 26th at 2pm. The residency will be hosted by the Social Impact department of the John F. Kennedy Center in Studio J at The Reach.

Latest Performances

Suli Myrie closed 2023 as understudy for the roles Tedra and Rabby in Studio Theatre‘s wildly successful run of Fat Ham by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright James Ijames; directed by Taylor Reynolds.

Suli Myrie performed in Capital Fringe Festival 2023,  leading the cast as Maddy in Ezra Pound Couldn’t Sleep Here, a play written by John Harney and directed by Emily Dalton. 



Suli performed in a two-night run at The Voxel Theatre in Baltimore, MD with a brilliant ensemble cast of women in the play Diagnosed written and directed by Helen Hayes award winner Iyona Blake. She portrayed the central character Lydia.
